Education is a very important sector for the development of Madagascar. A few years ago, many children couldn’t attend school due to the lack of proper infrastructure. As a part of the social and sustainable objectives, De Monchy Natural Products (DMNP) started a project with the aim to build a new school in Madagascar together with Sambavanille and the Trivium Foundation
Education is key in a child’s development and increases the chance of a better job and decreases the likelihood of child labour.
Education is an essential part of every child’s development as knowledge and skills are needed to stimulate a better future with more opportunities. Providing high-quality education to vulnerable communities unfortunately seems to be challenging.
As a foundation, we are convinced that continued support of the population in various projects must remain in place. Even now that the Covid 19 virus has reached the countries where we are source, our involvement is equally important. The improvement of essential facilities cannot stop. We are pleased that with all the partners involved and the donations so far, the projects in Brazil, Madagascar, Bolivia and South Africa continue to develop.

The Trivium Foundation is supporting children from the Grange Primer School in Witput with bursaries for high-quality High Schools in the area, like Hoërskool Hopetown , in the Northern Cape town of Hopetown.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the construction of the school in Ambohimanarina is progressing well…
Project Started: March 2019
The Trivium Foundation is supporting a school project in the rural areas of the Pando department in Bolivia, together with the Federico Hecker Foundation. More than 80 indigenous families will benefit from this project.

Recently, the management of the foundation visited a community in Ilha do Goiabal in the state of Maranhão, Brazil. The community is involved in our carnauba wax supply chain. It became very apparent how necessary our involvement is.

Together with Sambavanille, our local partner in Madagascar, we are building a fully equipped school to provide these children the necessary infrastructure to achieve good academic results.
